The CCIM designation is a Master's level education, and for those that don't have tuition reimbursement from their employer,
the CO/WY CCIM Chapter offers one $500 Scholarship and two $1000 Scholarship per year for the Comprehensive exam and review course.  Name endowed scholarships celebrate those individuals who have shown great dedication, commitment, outstanding achievement, and service to the commercial real estate industry.

John V Propp Name Endowed Scholarship

$1,000 awarded annually

2021 Scholarship

Steve R Price Name Endowed Scholarship

$1,000 awarded annually

Robert L. Behrens CCIM Scholarship

$500 awarded annually

Donations to support the John  V Propp scholarship may be made directly to the CCIM Foundation website by clicking on the button below.  When prompted "How would you like to designate your gift?" specify the John V Propp name endowed scholarship.


Scholarship Program Guidelines
The above referenced CCIM Scholarships were created to support qualified real estate professionals in the final step of their efforts to achieve the CCIM designation for the Course Concepts Review (“CCR”) and Comprehensive Exam (“Comp Exam”). Recipient should exemplify the high caliber of professionals that comprise the CCIM Institute. The CCIM Institute hosts the Comprehensive Exam twice annually (Spring and Fall).  The awarding chapter may choose to award the scholarship for either the scheduled Spring or Fall CCR and Comp Exam.

Scholarship Selection Criteria
Includes the following:

  • Each applicant should be able to demonstrate a commitment to a commercial real estate career (see application).

  • Each applicant should be able to demonstrate that he/she is a Candidate member of the CCIM Institute.

  • Each applicant should be able to demonstrate active involvement as a dues paying member with the Colorado/Wyoming CCIM Chapter or North Carolina CCIM Chapter (see application).

  • Recipient of this scholarship should have a need for financial assistance.
